''Zimmermannia capillipes'' is a species of plant in the Phyllanthaceae family. It is endemic to Tanzania.〔Lovett, J. & Clarke, G.P. 1998. (''Zimmermannia capillipes'' ). (2006 IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. ) Downloaded on 24 August 2007.〕 Known locally as ''Kizeza-mzitu'', the plant is small (up to 10 meters), with white, soft wood. The leaves are simple and alternate, and the flowers and fruit are green.
